» New ways of working need new kinds of spaces. «

Following the guiding principle – space creates new realities – we designed a Showroom for the AJ83 building and transformed half floor layout it into a stunning eye catcher.

The new design elements have a light and airy appearance which on the one hand feel delicate and soft & on the other suggest liveliness and dynamics. The French Grey curtains meander through the loft-like space creating different room scenarios while balancing out the harder materials both atmospherically and acoustically.

In order to enhance the two-tone nature of the concept we played with creating haptic tension between materials by combining rough surfaces – like textured plaster on the walls – with sleek floor finishings.

The furniture concept focuses on the timelessness of a number of design classics such as the @vitra Physix chair, the Eiermann table or the Flower Pot table lamps.

The minimalist kitchen unit forms the connecting element between work and play and is the heart of the showroom. The yellow accentuated handles on the „Off White“ fronts are highlighting the base cabinets while subtly linking the lower part of the kitchen to the elongated shelves on top.

Based on our grid concept, which runs through the entire AJ83 building, we developed a room divider that also functions as a shelving unit. This unique piece of furniture completes the overall picture while also standing out due to its carefully considered yellow accents.

We‘ve set up a sofa landscape as an informal meeting place to offer employees and visitors the opportunity for a casual exchange of ideas while overlooking the entire showroom.
